IT JUST FITS!

After I graduated from college, I gained some initial experience working for a manufacturer of dosing systems. I joined Schenck RoTec after I sent them an unsolicited application. My new job feels like it has been made especially for me: challenging tasks and very supportive colleagues and superiors.

Diversity enriches my day
As an electrical designer, I create e-concepts, circuit diagrams, parts lists and the corresponding documentation. The technical clarification with customers and suppliers from all over the world is also a part of my diverse job. Our development projects give me plenty of leeway in terms of design.

A good working  atmosphere  is extremely important 
I appreciate the good working atmosphere at the company. I can realise my own ideas here and internal communication works  perfectly. Changing jobs and joining Schenck was  the right decision for me.

ASSUMING RESPONSIBILITY

After graduating from college, I knew that I wanted a hands-on job and that it should provide leeway for internal optimisation. Talking with people, finding solutions, working in a strong team, and most importantly for me: plenty of variety! And this is also what I found in my function of Head of Services in the Service department.

Customer proximity and service quality
Our work involves a lot of things that are not for the faint-hearted: Scheduling maintenance and repairs, finding the right spare parts, marketing new services and advising customers who need quick help on the phone – and all of this in an international market environment.

CONSTRUCTION IS CREATION

Construction is a creative process which could not be more interesting and versatile: From initial checks concerning technical feasibility to clarification with suppliers as well as the development of a new product...we deal with things that are really fun.

The work with our colleagues in sales, our international customers and our experienced specialists in assembly and in the testing field is outstanding.

NUMBERS ARE MY THING

I have been managing the Finance and Accounting department at Schenck RoTec for over ten years. In our team, we precisely account for all daily business transactions and take care of the monthly and interim statements – and of course the annual statement. The working atmosphere in my team is open, respectful and casual.

Never a dull moment!
My most exciting tasks involve implementing security concepts to ensure that our business never suffers any financial risks, e.g. as a result of exchange rate fluctuations. As a result, I am involved in many projects during the sales negotiation stages and provide assistance in the conclusion of orders as a financial advisor up to the handover of the operation-ready machine at the customer site.

Multiculture is business as usual.
As a functional consultant for our division’s Finance and Accounting, I am in constant contact with my coworkers at home and abroad. I have had the opportunity to visit nearly all of our company locations and have managed to make many new friends. These international contacts are extremely enriching for me.
